This fall, Western Water earned its sixth consecutive Excellence in IT Practices Award from the Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC), making this our eighth award overall. Our Information Services team accepted the honor at the 2024 MISAC Conference in Monterey, California, celebrating our dedication to outstanding performance in information technology management and operations.  

We also took home two STAR Awards from the California Association of Public Information Officials (CAPIO). We earned second place in the “Social Media Efforts Under 250K” category for our video showcasing Western Water’s office and fourth place for our video of the 2023 Water Works Wonders event.  

Earning these awards reflects our ongoing commitment to innovative technology and communication strategies that enhance transparency, service excellence and our connection to the behind-the-scenes work we do to ensure reliable water service to our customers every day.
