Water Budget Adjustment

Your individualized water budget is calculated using factors such as the number of people in the household and the area of your irrigated landscape.

Based on census data, Western Water uses a default number of three people per household for single-family homes and two people per household for condominiums and apartments. The number of people regularly living in your home directly impacts your indoor water budget. If you need to update the number of people in your home, complete the Standard Request for Water Budget Adjustment Form (Español).

Request a temporary water budget adjustment.

Have you experienced a leak on your property and fixed it? Did you install new landscaping? Are you filling or refilling your pool? You may need a temporary water budget adjustment.

If you have recently received a high bill and know it is due to one of the factors listed above, you can request a temporary water budget adjustment using the Temporary Water Budget Adjustment Request Form.
