The Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) shall apply to all full-time, classified Employees of the District. The purpose of the MOU is to confirm the District’s understanding of certain terms and conditions of employment for Employees covered by the MOU. The District has recognized the Western Municipal Water District Employee Association as the exclusive representative of all Employees covered by the MOU to meet and confer in good faith regarding wages, hours, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment.
The purpose of the Confirmation of Understanding (“COU”) is to ratify the District’s understanding of certain terms and conditions of employment for the District’s Management/Professional/Confidential Employees (hereinafter referred to as the “Management Team”). Both the District and the Management Team Employees agree and recognize that neither the understanding or the discussion surrounding it should constitute or imply that the District has recognized or certified the Management Team as an appropriate bargaining unit or the exclusive representative for the Management Team Employees. The COU shall not be modified without prior notice and without meeting with representatives of this group to allow for discussions regarding terms and conditions of employment, excluding discussions regarding title changes or salary adjustments.
