Safe and secure with Western Water

Western Water field employees wear Western Water uniforms and carry identification badges. We will never ask to come inside your home or backyard.

Western Water will contract third-party vendors to complete meter replacements and water efficiency surveys. These vendors arrive in marked vehicles. You can confirm their identity and verify their validity by contacting our Customer Service team at 951.571.7104 or emailing us.

Unauthorized door-to-door water testing

Western Water has received reports of individuals going door-to-door claiming there are contaminants in customers’ water and offering to perform in-home testing.  

These individuals are NOT affiliated with Western Water. 

Our water meets or exceeds all state and federal water quality standards, and we do not conduct unannounced door-to-door water testing. In some cases, scammers use false or misleading test results to pressure residents into purchasing expensive and unnecessary home filtration systems.

If someone comes to your door claiming to represent Western Water: 

  • Ask for an official photo ID 
  • Do not allow entry if you feel uncomfortable.
  • Never sign contracts or provide payment information on the spot.
